To my dearest Missoula Cultural Lovers -

We at Real Good are fortunate to host New York City's Noel Oyellette this upcoming First Friday during his cross country trek to British Columbia. As a self described post-situationist, Noel operates with little documentation, or trail of crumbs so to speak. What I can share is this:

“I can explain”

An exhibit by Noel Oyellette

Real Good

1205 Defoe St #1

June 5th // 7-10 PM

ARTIST STATEMENT:

‘I can explain’ explores the relationship between emerging sexualities and romance tourism.

With influences as diverse as Nietzsche and Andy Warhol, new combinations are generated from both orderly and random discourse.

Since post WWII we have been fascinated by the ephemeral nature of the moment. What starts out as contemplation soon becomes corroded into a cacophony of lust, leaving only a sense of unreality and the chance of a new order.

As shifting derivatives become transformed through performative and personal practice, the viewer is left with an insight into the limits of our culture.
